Addison Road (band)

AddisonRoad2006.jpgAddison Road was a Christian alternative pop/rock band from Dallas, Texas.[1] The band was signed to INO Records in 2007 and released its self-titled debut album, Addison Road, on March 18, 2008. Its songs "All That Matters" and "Sticking With You" were the ninth and fifteenth most-played songs on R&R magazine's Christian CHR chart for 2008.[2] On August 1, 2012, the band announced that after 10 years it would complete its time as a band.[3][4] Lead singer Jenny Simmons is pursuing a solo career.

The Afters


The Afters April 2014.jpgThe Afters are a Christian pop rock band founded by Joshua Havens and Matt Fuqua. Havens and Fuqua first worked together in a Starbucks coffee shop in Mesquite, Texas, where they played for customers, before deciding to form a band. They added Brad Wigg and Marc Dodd, who were also employed at the same Starbucks, under their original name of Blisse. Their song "Never Going Back to OK" was the most-played song on R&R magazine's Christian CHR chart for 2008.

Acceptance (band)

Acceptance (band).jpgAcceptance is an American alternative rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1998. They released their first EP, Lost for Words, in 2000, followed by Black Lines to Battlefields in 2003 (this EP was also re-released with live bonus tracks). Their only album, Phantoms, was released in 2005.
On January 26, 2015, it was announced that Acceptance had reunited. The band consists of Jason, Christian, Kaylan, Garrett, Ryan, and Nick. They released their first song in over ten years called "Take You Away" on May 8, 2015.

12 Stones

12 Stones is an American Christian[2][3] post-grunge band that was formed in 2000 in Mandeville, Louisiana. The band currently consists of Paul McCoy, Eric Weaver, David Troia and Sean Dunaway.

History

The four band members met in Mandeville, Louisiana, a small suburb north of New Orleans, and within 15 months were signed to a record deal with Wind-up Records. Lead vocalist Paul McCoy was featured in the Evanescence single "Bring Me to Life", released in 2003, which later went on to win a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance in 2004.
Songs from the band have appeared in various films and TV shows. "My Life", from their self-titled album, was featured on the soundtrack of the 2002 film The Scorpion King. "Broken" (also from the self-titled album) served as the official theme song for WWE's WWE Judgment Day pay-per-view in May 2002. "Home" (also from the self-titled album) was the song used for the WWE Desire video for Kurt Angle. "Shadows", from Potter's Field, was used in a trailer for the film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. "Photograph" (also from Potter's Field) appeared on the soundtrack of the 2005 film Elektra. The band also recorded the song "Let Go" exclusively for the Daredevil movie soundtrack. Songs "Running out of Pain" and "Back Up" were used on Cheating Death, Stealing Life - The Eddie Guerrero Story.
